About Exmoor Flowers

Since 1887 the Pedder family have been proud to serve the twin communities of Lynton  and Lynmouth.

 I am Stephanie Kingston.For the past twenty five years my husband,  Cliff and I have been independent newsagents at E.J. Pedder, 1 lee Road Lynton (known locally as 'Pedders').

In the year 2000 we noticed a gap in the market for fresh flowers and not wanting to turn trade away decided to fill it. We naively thought that we would have a few bunches in buckets on the doorstep similar to a garage forecourt, but after a few short months we saw the need for a dedicated florist shop and ably assisted by our florist and friend Christine, we set about filling the void. 

Five years down the line we completed the transition by selling the newsagency part of our business and refurbishing our shop.  In May 2005 we were able to open our doors as Exmoor Flowers.
